1-on-1 coaching for designers, PMs and founders moving into AI products

AI product work is becoming its own discipline. Designers are asked to design for uncertainty. PMs are asked to define good output and prove it with evals. Founders are asked to show a working product before anyone will fund a team. The people who make the move over the next two years will be the ones with one real AI artefact to show and the judgment behind it.

This programme gets you that artefact. Over eight weeks, you work one-on-one with Marcus Chia on a project of your choice, and you finish with something you can put in a portfolio, a planning meeting or a pitch.

Who it's for

Designers

UX, UI and product designers who want to design AI features with credibility. You know interaction design. You want to handle AI states, research AI products and prototype with AI coding tools.

You leave with a portfolio-ready AI feature case study, including the research, the AI states and the failure modes, plus a working prototype.

PMs

Product managers and product owners taking on AI features or AI PM roles. You know discovery and roadmaps. You want to write an AI PRD, run error analysis and set up evals.

You leave with an AI PRD that includes success metrics and an evaluation plan, and a prioritised AI roadmap for a real or realistic product.

Founders

Non-technical and semi-technical founders building a first AI product. You need to decide what to build, see it working and brief the people you hire.

You leave with a validated AI use case, a working prototype and a build plan or a brief for hiring a builder.

How it works

1. Apply. A short form: your role, your goal and what you want to have shipped in eight weeks.
2. Fit call. A free 20-minute video call to check the programme suits your goal.
3. Kickoff. We agree the project, the artefact and your personal syllabus.
4. Eight weekly sessions. 60 minutes each, one-on-one on video, booked in your time zone.
5. Async reviews. Between sessions, share work in Figma, a doc or a prototype link. You get written feedback within TBC: review turnaround in business days.
6. Capstone review. A final session on the finished artefact and how you will present it.

What we cover

The syllabus is personal. Most programmes draw on four blocks, weighted to your goal:

1. AI product fundamentals. What current models do well and badly, and the trade-offs between cost, speed and quality.
2. UX for AI and the slop test. Designing AI states with trust and control in mind, then checking your work against the signals that make AI output look generated.
3. Prototyping with AI coding tools. Building a working version yourself, using the same PRD-first approach Marcus teaches in AI Vibe Coding.
4. Shipping and telling the story. Evals, metrics and the case study or pitch that explains your decisions.

Your coach

Marcus Chia runs Produlogi, a UX × AI studio based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, working with teams worldwide. He brings an extensive UX/UI background and tests, builds and ships AI experiences as part of his practice. He teaches as faculty at AiTraining2U, where he is the named instructor for AI Vibe Coding and Rapid Prototyping. Read more on the about page.

• Time zones: sessions are booked in your local time. Marcus works on Malaysia Time (UTC+8), which overlaps a full day with Asia-Pacific and a few hours with the UK and Europe. Coachees in the Americas agree one regular slot with Marcus at the edge of both days.
