Design work is changing fast. The first draft of a screen, a flow or a research summary now takes an AI tool a few seconds. The skill that stays valuable is knowing what is wrong with that draft and how to fix it. This internship teaches that skill on real work, next to a practising designer and builder.

Produlogi is a UX × AI studio based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, working with teams worldwide.

Your work

• UX research support. Recruiting participants, taking session notes and running affinity synthesis.
• UI and interaction design in Figma. Including the AI states most teams skip: loading, uncertainty, errors and human-in-the-loop.
• Prototyping with AI coding tools. The same toolchain Marcus teaches in AI Vibe Coding.
• Slop tests and lab notes. Checking real screens against the slop test and writing or designing short lab notes about what you found.
• Documentation. Design system entries and handover notes.

TBC: whether interns support client work under NDA, and who supervises interns.

We credit you on any work that goes public.

Who fits

• A student or recent graduate in design, HCI, computer science, business or a related field.
• A portfolio or project links. School work counts.
• Clear written English.
• Curious about AI and sceptical of hype.
• Comfortable taking feedback and acting on it.

You do not need prior AI experience.

Skills you build

• The Discover, Design, Build and Enable method we use on client work.
• Prototyping with AI coding tools.
• Research craft, from recruiting to synthesis.
• Presenting your work and defending your decisions.
• A portfolio piece you can show, subject to client consent where client work is involved.

It also asks one short question. Show us one AI experience that feels like slop and explain how you would fix it, in 300 words or fewer, with screenshots shared by link.

After you apply, we reply within TBC: response time in working days. TBC: interview steps after shortlisting (for example a 30-minute call), and whether a small task follows and is paid.

While the internship is closed, the same form adds you to the waitlist.
